DESCRIPTION:CPR\, AED\, and Basic First Aid taught per the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) standards. Instruction includes training in adult\, child\, and infant skills in a practical hands-on format. Skills assessed and practiced during the training include: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)\, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)\, choking\, control of bleeding and managing shock\, sudden illness\, and environmental emergencies. Each attending will receive a student handbook and certification card valid for two years.
