DESCRIPTION:MBA Pierce is excited to introduce the 2021 Home Building Bus Tour! This tour is designed to take elected officials who represent jurisdictions throughout Pierce County on a guided journey of the home building process\, from permitting to purchase. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all attendees.\n\n\n\nMBA Pierce and the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtor's  recognize that Pierce County is experiencing a significant housing crisis\, which is why our associations believe in a legislative agenda that creates attainable housing solutions. We have had the opportunity for many years to work with local leaders\, elected and staff\, to better create attainable housing. This year\, we invite these leaders to join us on a tour to experience what goes into building a home.\n\n\n\nWe will be following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety and attendees\, including but not limited to requiring guests to wear facemasks\, ensuring the use of hand sanitizer\, and following social distancing protocols. LOCATION:The tour begins at TPCAR's office\, located at 2550 South Yakima Ave. #C Tacoma\, WA 98405. From there\, we will visit a permitting center\, two homes under construction\, and conclude back at TPCAR's office.
