Zorn spent eight seasons as a quarterback with the Seattle Seahawks from 1976 ? 1984. He also played for the Green Bay Packers (1985)\, CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1986) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1987). During his first year with the Seahawks in 1976\, Zorn was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year in the AFC and the team's most valuable player. He is also a member of the Washington (state) Sports Hall of Fame. After his playing career ended\, Zorn went into coaching and served as an assistant at Boise State\, Utah State\, University of Minnesota\, Detroit Lions and Seahawks before being named head coach of the Washington Football Team in 2008\, where he spent two seasons.
